Good question. To the outside observer, it just does not seem to make good business sense. But, to the people at NEXT, who are in this business for unselfish purposes, it does.

We are in this business for you; the people who need mobility equipment. We are in this business of providing functional and technologically advanced products that make your life as easy as possible. Removing whatever barriers we can to let you and your family enjoy life to its fullest. Individual freedom for you is our goal.

In an era where government reimbursements and product acquisition costs dictate to some what they are going to manufacture and sell, we are of a different mindset. 

We are in business to find niche products and give them needed exposure.  Excellent examples of this are our TiltBac (adult tilt in space chair), theBUG (pediatric tilt in space chair) and the AireRx cushion line (with a built in cooling fan).

We are also focused on bringing new and innovative technology to the market.  Fine examples of this include our new TAILWIND Power Assist Wheelchair and our rugged, front wheel drive OmegaTrac power wheelchair featuring our Dual Motor system, which utilizes one motor to power the chair and another integrated into our patented transaxle steering transmission.
